Monday Mishmash 7/17/17

Happy Monday! Monday Mishmash is a weekly meme dedicated to sharing what's on your mind. Feel free to grab the button and post your own Mishmash.

Here's what's on my mind today:
  1. Drafting  I have to draft a novella this week. It's been on the back burner for months so I could get to revisions and client edits. I'm excited to draft again though.
  2. Revising  I finished a revision yesterday and have two more books to revise before sending to my editor.
  3. Cover Design  I have such great cover designers. My upcoming covers are all ready to go, and they're gorgeous!
  4. Cover Reveal Signups  My Ashelyn Drake hot romance Reignited is part of the Hot & Sinful Nights boxed set (which you can preorder for only $.99 on Amazon, Nook, Kobo, and iBooks!), but I'll be releasing the paperback in October. If you'd like to take part in the cover reveal for the paperback edition, you can sign up here.
  5. Blurbs  Have I ever mentioned how much I loathe writing blurbs? I have to write a few this week. :( Wish me luck, please.
That's it for me. What's on your mind today?

  1. Still doing my editing here. Don't yet know when to start finding a professional editor.

  2. Good luck with your blurbs. Your cover designs are always so gorgeous.

I'm making headway with my novel, revamping (or adding new) chapters each day. Impatient to get it finished and start sending it off again.

    Have a great week.

  3. I live for the draft stage, never been more free than in that stage. Is the rewriting that gets to me.
Good luck with the drafting and the blurbs!

    1. I love revising. I think that's my favorite stage.

  4. All signed up for the cover reveal. I hate writing blurbs, too. And synopses. It's just easier to write the book!

  5. Blurbs can be quite an ordeal to write.

  6. I'm glad you get to first-draft with all you do. I fully expect you to become a publisher, as you effectively already are. But I am thinking more like HarperCollins!

    1. LOL Never going to happen, Mirka. I'm too busy as it is. LOL

  7. Blurbs are the worst! You've just written a book with 60,000+ words, and then you're supposed to boil it all down to a few sentences? Ugh. Good luck!
